The famed Ambassador East Hotel, purchased and reconcepted by the Ian Schrager Group, now operates as Public Chicago and reflects the owner's new brand of boutique hotel. New architectural finishes were installed in the existing public areas, a new bar and adjacent screening room were incorporated into the existing space, and the iconic Pump Room restaurant received a total transformation through a complete renovation. Exterior canopies and landscaping were also upgraded.
Anderson/Miller, Ltd. contributed as the Architect of Record for the renovation of the existing public spaces.
