Through a $60 million renovation, Park Hyatt Chicago has been reimagined as a calm, residential-style retreat that reflects both the legacy and future of the Magnificent Mile. Anderson Miller led the redesign of guestrooms, suites, spa, and corridors, shaping a warm, inviting interior experience grounded in craftsmanship and layered detail.

Guestrooms and suites were fully transformed with bespoke furnishings, integrated lighting, and curated art from Chicago-based artists. Layered textiles, tonal palettes, and soft finishes define the visual identity, while new suite layouts introduce high-end apartment features such as kitchens, dining spaces, and living areas. Upgraded systems include heated floors, soaking tubs, and Lutron smart controls.

The redesign extends to wellness areas as well, including the spa and salon. These spaces now feature clean lines, natural materials, and a tranquil atmosphere that enhances guest comfort and flow.

Throughout, the design speaks to understated luxury with a careful balance of tactile richness, contextual reference, and contemporary elegance.
