PARK HYATT CHICAGO

The iconic Park Hyatt Chicago is pleased to present a stunning $60M redesign of all Guestrooms, Suites, and Corridors - and the first major renovation since its opening in 1980.  Located in Chicago’s bustling Magnificent Mile neighborhood, the storied property has been a landmark Chicago destination since it opened as the very first Park Hyatt hotel.  Imagined as a one-of-a-kind retreat that embodies understated luxury and serves as a home away from home for guests, the project features bespoke high-quality detailing, clever and functional appointments, and one-of-a-kind art and design viewed through a contemporary lens for today’s discerning traveler. The renewed sanctuary seamlessly blends a clear sense of place and culture with its elevated 146 Standard Guestrooms, featuring a vibrant new art program spotlighting some of Chicago’s most talented creatives.

All Guestrooms and Suites were holistically designed from fixtures and furniture to wall and floor coverings. The results are spaces enveloped in soft creams, camel accent tones, and layered textures, filled with opulent amenities, giving them an intimate, residential feel deeply rooted in luxury.

The Super Suites were stripped and re-planned holistically to perform as luxury residential apartments inclusive of generous living spaces, custom millwork kitchens for entertaining, full dining zones for meetings or meals, and private luxurious sleeping chambers - all implementing luxury finishes and materiality.  The primary bathing spaces delight with “switch” privacy glass overlooking the sleeping chamber, soaking tubs, and heated floors.

In-room amenities in all guestrooms and suites include an integrated media hub with an advanced tablet system for guest service communication and in-room dining; full-length illuminated wardrobe mirrors; Lutron My Room master lighting and shade control; Park Hyatt brand’s signature large format Le Labo® bath products; five-fixture baths with the with retractable doors for guests to relax in the oversized soaking tub while enjoying views of the city; new triple-pane glass windows for enhanced acoustics, which provide a quiet, serene guestroom experience and reduce energy by regulating room climate; and more.
